Society Of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Meeting in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir

Our Managing Partner, Ms. Shweta Bharti was part of a truly meaningful gathering of the Society Of Indian Law Firms (SILF) in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir under the able leadership of the SILF President Dr. Lalit Bhasin.

SILF officials came together with two clear messages:

1. To express unwavering solidarity with Indian Army on the success of 𝑂𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑆𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑜𝑜𝑟, and to salute the courage behind the successful 𝑂𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑀𝑎ℎ𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑣 by the Army, CRPF, and J&K Police.

2. To affirm that Kashmir is absolutely safe for tourism, and encourage visitors to experience its unmatched beauty, culture, and warmth.

Through this meeting, we conveyed our condolences to the families affected by recent events, rejected misguided narratives undermining India’s economy, and reaffirmed our nation’s resilience and growth. Engaging with local communities in Pahalgam, we sought to instill confidence in the region’s hospitality and tourism sectors. Above all, the gathering stood as a clear affirmation that peace, prosperity, and national unity remain central to our vision for India.

We are grateful to SILF and my peers including Alok Kumar (Senior Vice President), Sudhir Kumar (Vice President), Mumtaz Bhalla, FICA, MCIArb (Vice President), Yakesh Anand (Joint General Secretary), Pratap Shanker (Joint General Secretary), and Aditya Bhasin for standing together in this effort, and to the people of Kashmir for their warmth and strength.
