Hammurabi & Solomon (H&S) a leading Pan India Firm, has extended its presence in South India by acquiring Seagull Law, a boutique law firm.
Bengaluru based boutique firm, Seagull Law has merged its practice with Hammurabi & Solomon. Hammurabi shall now be moving into a bigger office space with state of the art facilities. The merger has been effective from 15th October, 2015. Manoj Kumar, Managing Partner of Hammurabi & Solomon has confirmed the news.
Bharath, founder of Seagull Law is a litigation lawyer with over 15 years of experience in all branches of litigation- civil, criminal, commercial and constitutional matters. With this synergy, Bharath has been inducted as a Partner and will be an addition to the Firm’s South India practice. The Firm shall continue to provide seamless legal services in dispute resolution, corporate commercial transactions, real estate transactions, property banking intellectually property matters and labour matters for the demanding South of India market. The team shall consist of Bharath and 5 lawyers.
Bharath stated that “I felt it was the right time to expand and grow to the next level and hence decided to merge my practice with Hammurabi & Solomon. This integration with will definitely give us strength to go further by helping us to better our offering in other practice areas as well as expand our footprints in South of India. The synergy will ensure an increased bandwidth and scalablility in South India.”
