Mr. Manoj Kumar, Managing Partner, is a key driving force of the professional social responsibility program at SILF, key member of CSR committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) apart from spearheading the CSR and Social Enterprise initiative of the Firm at the India Unites Foundation on a wide range of social and inclusive agenda’s in India including:

  • Human rights
  • Education
  • Justice to all
  • Legal reforms
  • Health and Sanitation
  • Environment & Pollution
  • Child care and development

The Firm continuously supports a number of organizations and has been involved in numerous social projects to support people with limited means. Through its association with Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF – a representative body of Indian Law Firms) and Advocates for International Development (A4ID – a global organisation providing legal support to the development organisations), the firm supports social and economic development projects designed to strengthen the legal system and human rights. The Firm is committing to mainstream the voices of the poor and marginalised sections of the society in the process of development. It has further actively promoted the cause of sustainable development in association with Praxis – a NGO specialising in participatory approaches to sustainable development.

The Firm heads the initiative on behalf of Indian Lawyers to ensure progress towards achievement of UN Millennium Development Goals (i.e. eradication of poverty, universal primary education, gender equality and women empowerment, reduce child mortality, improve maternal health, and ensure environmental sustainability among others).
